Do you re-sell other people’s designs?

No, we do not re-sell other peoples designs at all.  Every design that you see on this site has been designed by us.

What software do I need to use your service?

As long as you can e-mail us, you shouldn’t (under normal circumstances) need anything else.  We use PhotoShop and DreamWeaver to build your website by hand.

Is the website maintenance anything like a ‘content management system’ (CMS)?

No, with a content management system, there's usually some software, or a system for you to learn, and then you do all the work yourself...   whereas with our website maintenance, we can do all of your maintenance for you.

Can I edit my Pay-as-You-Go website myself if I want to?

Yes, you can edit the text area on the page yourself using DreamWeaver (if you're familiar with DreamWeaver, the text area is setup as an 'Editable Region').

Outside of that text area (i.e. the 'structure' of the page), you will need to get us to make those amendments for you, via our website maintenance service.

If I subscribe to one of your Pay-as-You-Go websites, will that design be exclusive to me?

No, our pay-as-you-go designs are offered on a non-exclusive basis.  If you would like an exclusive design, then our custom designs may be a better option for you.

If I have one of your Pay-as-You-Go websites, and later on I see a different pay-as-you-go Therapy Webs design that I like more, can my site be changed over to that new design?

Yes it can.   We are constantly bringing out new designs, so it may be that you see a different design that you feel would suit your business more, or you just might fancy a change! – In that case, we can apply that new design to your site, no problem at all.   We’ll just treat is as website maintenance, and so a maintenance charge will apply.

If I have a Pay-as-You-Go website now, and then want to go for a custom design later on as my business grows, can that be done?

Yes, of course.

What are the Pay-as-You-Go Website setup fees?

For a Pay-as-You-Go site of up to 10 pages, the setup fee is only £49.

For the small £49 setup fee, a ten page website of your chosen design will be uploaded to your web hosting, ready for your content to be added. If you would like us to add more pages, or add your content for you, additional fees may apply.

If I decide to end my Pay-as-You-Go website, am I tied in to a set period of time?

No, you can end it at any time.

There are a lot of companies offering basic ‘do it yourself’ websites out there, are the Therapy Webs products like that?

Not really.   Those basic ‘do it yourself’ or ‘content managed’ websites can be a great introduction into having a website, but many people who use those, often realise that they DO still require design and layout skills to do it well. 

They also find that some of the limitations are a little bit too restrictive (such as a limited number of pages, limited number of images on a page, and things like that).

We can bring you a quality website design that you generally won’t find in ‘do-it-yourself’ products.

Our websites are all hand built by a designer.... they're not an automated process.

Do you arrange hosting?

No, and there is a very good reason for that... it's because we feel the best thing for your business is to use a specialist hosting company who can offer you a guaranteed level of service, and 24/7 support.

We're specialists in providing you with a beautiful website, and we prefer to leave your hosting to the hosting specialists!

Do you arrange domain names?

No, for the same reasons as the hosting... you're better off using a specialist in that area. Domains are as 'cheap as chips' these days!

Another thing to be aware of, is that some companies who include a 'free' domain name as part of a website package, will often demand a huge 'release fee' if you ever want to move it... some won't let you move it at all!

But, if you pay for, and register your own domain via a specialist web domain company, you remain in control of that domain at all times.

We believe that you need to retain control of all of your business assets, including your domain name!

Who are the Therapy Webs products aimed at?

Our products are aimed at you if you want a PERSON to look after your website, rather than leave it to a piece of software.

They are for you if you don’t want to learn software or content management systems, or be restricted by how much you can grow your website.

They're ideal if you would like to hand the running of your website over to someone who can look after it for you.

It’s a bit like when you order a meal in a restaurant...  you don’t necessarily need to know HOW the chef makes the lovely food... as long as he makes nice food, you can sit back and enjoy your evening while he does it.  

In the same way, you can leave your website to us, and go about looking after your business.

I’ve heard some website designers outsource some of their work to India, do you?

No, all of our work is carried out by us, in the UK.

Do I have to talk to you over e-mail, or can I ring you?
